The Afronauts are coming to Heritage Hall on Saturday, September 29. The Afronauts are descendants of the Dogon people of Mali. Their mandate is to save the planet by tackling one issue at a time. Currently, they are confronting Canada’s historical amnesia and anti-Black racism. The Afronauts will be present in Guelph during Culture Days and welcome your contributions and participation in their lab focused on this region.
This is a collaborative program led by Camille Turner with the support of the Guelph Black Heritage Society, Art Gallery of Guelph, and University of Guelph Black Student Association. Generously supported by the Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration Multicultural Community Capacity Program.
