AGG Returns to the Hive with Honey Bee Inspired Activities
Little bees and their families are invited to the Art Gallery of Guelph on Monday, February 15 for an afternoon of free Family Day activities from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Inspired by Cole Swanson’s larger-than-life honeycomb installation, little visitors will waggle-dance their way through current exhibitions, complete a honey bee activity for a special pollinator packet, and take a trip inside a beehive with the Magic School Bus. Screenings at 1:30 and 2:30 pm in the Lecture Room (running time: 26 minutes). Make prints like the artists in the exhibition Artists at Riverside Studio in two different hands-on printmaking art activities.
AGG is open from noon to 5 pm on Family Day. See below for more information on our current exhibitions.
