Printmaking Pop-Up
Sunday, September 29, 2019 | 1 – 4 pm
Lecture Room | Second Floor | Accessible
Pop by for a pop-up on Culture Days weekend! Join us at the gallery Sunday, September 29, between 1 pm and 4 pm, for a guided printmaking workshop and community build project. Led by Otherwise Studios on a drop-in basis, participants will learn how to design, carve, and hand-print a single-colour linoleum print using a variety of tools and techniques. All printmakers involved will create a one-of-a-kind edition to take home, as well as contribute to a community bunting project. Each design will be printed on a flag and added to a banner that will be installed throughout the day at the Art Gallery of Guelph. Come collaborate and create with your community! All ages are welcome, no experience required. Presented by the Art Gallery of Guelph and Otherwise Studios.
