ART/CRAFT 2024

The Art Gallery of Guelph invites collectors and art lovers alike to raise a toast (and a bid paddle) in support of Guelph’s public gallery on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Doors open at 6:45 pm and the Live Art Auction starts just after 8:00 pm. We are pleased to welcome you back for ART/CRAFT 2024!

The gallery’s signature gala and live art auction is unique in its celebration of the powerful intersection of art and craft. Featuring renowned auctioneer Stephen Ranger, the live auction includes an exciting line-up of exceptional works donated in support of the gallery’s programming. Can’t make it to the event? Featured artists include Shuvinai Ashoona, Carl Beam, David Blackwood, Colin Carney, Susan Dobson, Azadeh Elmizadeh, Justin Favela, Brent Garbett, Giovanni Gerometta, Christian Giroux, John Hartman, Jason McLean, Stu Oxley, Michelle Purchase, Pitseolak Qimirpik, Don Russell, Tony Scherman, Seth, Pearl Van Geest, among others. With over 25 works on offer, art lovers will have the opportunity to acquire extraordinary pieces while supporting the AGG’s exhibitions and educational programs.

EVENT PARKING – Accessible parking and a limited number of free parking spots are available in the lot beside and behind the gallery with an entrance off Gordon Street, just north of College Avenue. Additional free parking is available in the University of Guelph campus parking lot P23 with access from College Avenue and MacDonald Street.

ART/PARTY – Three’s a crowd, four’s a party! Take advantage of the special Auction Party Package and purchase 4 tickets for $400. Regular tickets are $125 each. Purchase tickets online here.

EAT/DRINK – Partygoers will enjoy signature food and drink prepared by the chefs and sommeliers of the University of Guelph, renowned for pairing hospitality with sustainability.

SEE/BUY – Artworks will be on view at the gallery and online from November 9 – 16, 2024. Doors open for the Auction Party on Saturday, November 16 at 6:45 pm with the Live Auction starting at 8 pm. ENJOY/SUPPORT – By purchasing a ticket to ART/CRAFT, you are supporting AGG exhibitions and education programs. Add a donation to your ticket purchase, plus receive a tax receipt for eligible portion of a regularly priced ticket to the Auction Party. Or take advantage of our special 2024 Auction Party Early Bird ticket offer and purchase tickets for $100 until September 27, after which tickets are $125 each. Ticketholders receive admission to the Auction Party and Live Art Auction.
