PS GUELPH's annual Rock Paper Scissors: Book & Print Fair is back on Sunday, February 23, from 11 am to 4 pm at the Art Gallery of Guelph. The event is free!
Time
11:00am - 4:00pm
Location 358 Gordon St, Guelph, ON

Rock / Paper / Scissors is devoted to small-scale publishing and the social life of the book. This year, local zinesters, printmakers, artists, poets, and publishers from across Ontario and further afield will join us for a print media lover’s dream. Peruse hand-made and locally published books and print media and support small bookmakers, artists, and publishers. This year, we’ll have over 50 vendors joining us!

Rock / Paper / Scissors is co-presented by PS Guelph, Musagetes, and Art Gallery of Guelph. The Book & Print Fair event space is accessible by a ramp and stairs leading to the front entrance, with stair and elevator access to the washrooms. Masks are encouraged, and some will be available at the door. We encourage vendors and guests to stay home if they feel unwell. Please reduce the use of scented products (e.g. perfume, cologne) for this event.

Live Screenprinting Demonstration with the Queer Print Project

Join the Queer Print Project (QPP) on Sunday, February 23 from 11 am – 4 pm for a live screenprinting demonstration presented in conjunction with Rock / Paper / Scissors. This hands-on event will showcase the process of printing T-shirts and posters celebrating queer hope and resilience. An initiative founded by Anna Gaby-Trotz and Jude Akrey to create safe space for 2SLGTBQIA+ students at the University of Guelph to gather and make art together, the QPP would like to acknowledge the University of Guelph Diversity and Equity Enhancement Fund, Art Not Shame, the Art Gallery of Guelph, the University of Guelph’s School of Fine Art and Music, and PS Guelph for their support of this project.
